Watlington Park is located in Oxfordshire was a project that, designer Andrew Oughton undertook while working for Smallwood Architects. The job was to make alterations and refurbishments to the existing grade II listed building.
This country house and auxiliary buildings were built in 1775. Andrew’s job was to produce full working and detailed drawing packages for construction. The job also required interior remodelling, with detailed joinery drawings.
The walled garden gates were designed to complement the house and garden. This was done with stone capitals on the brick piers, with steel railings. For this, full working and detailed drawings were produced for construction.
Detailed joinery drawings were produced for the library where walnut panelling and false book jib doors were designed.
